Even better...

The Orinoco / Proxim / WaveLAN 802.11b cards work perfectly with system
software as far back as 7.5.3.

For a few years (yes, years) I used a PowerBook 190cs with a WaveLAN card,
and Mac OS 7.6.1. Geez, a PowerPC processor isn't even a requirement for
802.11b connectivity.
