Hard to believe that someone on LEM could put out such complete BS! They
do not haave the same processor, with the 280 and 280C running an 040 and
the prior duos all on 030's. 040 runs at double the bus speed inside the
processor, unlike the 030. Check out GURU.

Would have to agree here.. Being the owner of a 2300, 280c and a 250..
Go with the 80 or 2300.. Preferably the 2300... It's amazing how fast
that machine is maxed out under 8.1. Ditto for the 280c maxed running
7.6.1. My 280c boots up almost as quick if not a bit more than my
Wallstreet/300..
