Hello all!
I bought a new BTI battery for a PowerBook 500 at Fry's back in 2001.
It lasted a few months, then died. It seems that NiMH batteries have
a relatively limited shelf life if they are not periodically cycled.
The guys at http://www.batteryuniversity.com/ know more, I'm sure...
Just my $ .02
Cheers,
Ron

Hello, John (and 'List)-
I bought a couple of those VST batteries from Shreve Systems back
when they first acquired them, and they ended up being mostly crap.
Out of three bought, two failed, and the other failed after a
couple of months. John, I'm wondering if you've used them for any
length of time, and whether they seem any good...??
Thanks,
David C.

underwater, I made
my purchase after Katrina. Including shipping I paid
$52.50 each.
