Contact customer service or the manufacturer and ask them, allot of times they will say "up-to" because perhaps 1 gig cards were not being made at the time. Then you find out later they do work, after all that's pure pocket change, nothing ventured nothing gained, get it ....try it if it fails...... eBay it.

Greetings. Hmm, does this suggest a limitation? I was thinking about a 1GB CF card. But the specs on this adapter says "supports...to 512MB." Is 512MB an absolute limit for this type of adapter regardless of branding, or is this only a statement of official support from this specific manufacturer? Needless to say, before I purchase the CF card I will want to make sure the adapter supports it. (Incidentally, I went ahead and purchased the $5 adapter from Surplus Computers per Gene's recommendation <http:// www.surpluscomputers.com/store/main.aspx?p=ItemDetail&item=IMG10072>.

Thanks,

Gary
