If it does not show up at all (to state the obvious) it is either a
bad card or your slots are bad.
You will need either another card or another laptop.
If you know anybody with a Mac or PC laptop w/card slots plug it in
and see what happens.
Good luck

I mean it does not show up on the desktop nor in system profiler.
No lights
ever come on on the card. Unfortunately I have no other cards to
test with.

When you say can not get it to work --- do you mean that you can not
get it to connect? Does the card show up on your desktop? Do any
other cards work?
If the eject buttons do not work could mean bad slots or power issue
or bad connection to the buttons
More info please!

I can't seem to get an Orinoco Silver wi-fi card to work in a 2400
running
OS 9.1. Anything special I should know, do, download? Also, the
PC card
eject buttons don't seem to work, I have to use a straightened
paper clip to
get the card out. Might this mean a bad card slot? Thanks all.
