I have done the yellow wire cardbus mod an about 4 2400's.
Be very sure you are cutting the wires on top of the Motherboard next
to the ram slot.
just snip them you do not need to cut them away from the board.
There are yellow wires on the bottom of the motherboard also.
DO NOT CUT THOSE.

Has anybody else here successfully enabled Cardbus by snipping
yellow wires?
Actually they are on the board, not the card cage. There are
sites that show pics of the wires to cut.
