IIRC, that series of cards will work with OS 9's AirPort software.
Time to dust off the old WaveLAN Silver (virtually the same card)
and pop it into my 2400 to test my recollection....
It should also work with older versions of the OS and Airport
software but you may need to manually install the Airport software.
