Rob,
Yes, do try leaving it unplugged overnight or longer-- and with
batteries out too. I recall it happening to me at least once before
that I almost gave up on my 2400 (which either had GLOD or just
wouldn't power up, I don't remember) but I just left it for awhile,
then plugged it in and tried it a week or two later and found that it
worked.

Rob if you need a PMU I can swap yours out. One thing I also did was
check the fuses by doing a continuinity test on them, on both sides
of those little grey squarish chips.
Wait a second---I thought the Power Manager button (above the floppy
connector) is pressed and held for ove a minute with all the
batteries out. Try that and get back to us.
If that doesnt work, leave it unplugged/unpowered overnight

Hi All,
I've had the PowerBook 2400c in pieces and have reassembled.
I've followed the following process numerous times:
Disconnect AC
Pull Lion battery
Reconnect AC
Reset Power Manager button by depressing it for at least 40 seconds.
I still have the GLOD!
Can I confirm that the reset power manager button is the button
above the floppy drive connector?
Should I start looking for a new PowerBook and use this one for parts?
Thanks for the help guys.
