Mmm-mm, interesting. I have just looked at both my 2400s again.
They both have
the top and bottom slots. They both have the infra red window above the
slot cage. They both have the holes for the unfolded paperclip. Neither
of them, however, has an eject button!
The Eject buttons are the 2 smallish round buttons near the top left
part of the keyboard-containing part of the 2400 just below the LCD
hinge. I think they have raised triangle symbols on them but could be
wrong.
