I don't suppose you have a dock with an internal drive that has a system folder on it.

If I recall you can dock the duo and boot with the internal dock drive, then use the Apple dusk utility.

It has been a long time but I think this will work.

Good Luck

I'm now two hard drives into trying to replace the hard drive in my Duo 2300c, and I'm just not having any luck. From what I gather, the IDE controller in the 2300c supports ATA...2? As in the first EIDE specification? I was under the impression that ATA standards were supposed to be backwards compatible, but I can see this is not the case - I have a 2GB drive (Fujitsu) and a 6GB Drive (IBM Apple OEM) that both will not detect in the 2300c. (Both drives have been HFS formatted successfully, and read/write properly.) I've heard tell of people managing to put some pretty hefty hard drives in their Duos - my question is not so much how, I guess, as 'which ones'?

At this point, I'd be satisfied to have a working machine at all, so if someone's got a hard drive, or a 2300c for parts, let me know. =(

Thanks,
Keegan
