I had a thought about my dying 2400 battery. I pulled the lable off it to partly expose the 6 cells inside. Remembering the battery I had for my old 3400c, which are the same type and voltage (different watt rating). I wonder if the cells and maybe the circuts can fit in the 2400c battery case? These are selling for way under $100 these days. Anyone have an old 3400c battery to canabalize to find out?
