I like the allusion to Duo as substitute for a Palm Pilot and am thinking of
breaking
out the old 2300c for an upcoming trip. The suggestion about 7.6.1 was also
inspiring -
where did things start to go so terribly wrong? Was it my move to the 8 series?
The 4 series in Navigator? I don't know, but have been so refreshed by months of
G3 use that I feel ready for a little digression. OK, what about the extensions -
can/should more recent
OT, Speed Doubler, Applescript, QT extensions be used - when connecting via
Global Village modem - with 7.6.1? And what of 8.1? I just need to run a WP, GVI,
a stable browser. Speed is my need. Advisors, please come to my aid.
