I have a Duo 2300, which inherited a lot of system files from my two previous Duos, a 250 and a 270c. One program I have is Shhh!, which was supposed to solve a feature in the Duo 250 running some variant of System 7. In the 250, the speaker would turn off in battery mode to save energy, resulting in a small popping sounds. The Shh! system extension would turn off that feature, which was not needed when docked. Does anyone know if that feature has been rolled into subsequent Apple system software, or whether it applies to the 2300? Thanks, KK ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
