The duo 2300 has 8M of RAM on the motherboard and one slot for a duo-specific
RAM card.  So you'll have to find a 48M card somewhere (pretty expensive)
and remove the 12 that's in there now.

Replacing the RAM yourself is very easy.  Remove the keyboard (take out
the 3 screws behind it on the bottom of the case) and there's the RAM
card right there.
