hey duolisters,

I just completed my self install of my Vimage 320. I bought it a
couple of months ago, but didn't have the time until this afternoon
to have a go at it.

One question I have (yeah, I should have asked *before* I opened up
my book!) is where *exactly* does the little black pad go?

I dropped mine (minus the backing plastic) onto the metal heatsink
protrusion on the bottom of the book. This seemed the logical place
for it as I assume based on its size and shape that it is meant to be
a heat conductor.

If I have just made a major faux pas that will lead to the expolsion
of my beloved 2400 then I'd appreciate a head's up RSN. =)

Thanks!

PS: Yes, I knew the hazards beforehand, I've repaired and upgraded
many a powerbook before, including the gawdawful 500 series (which
imho is way more difficult inside than a 2400. The CPU upgrade for
the 2400 comes with NO instructions.
