Applix makes a suite of Office Tools similar to Microsoft and 
Claris(AppleWorks), and Netscape is available for almost every kind of 
UNIX, and there are other browsers, like Opera as well. Last but not 
least, Linux is more of a server operating system, so running things like 
Apache, and now Quicktime Straming Server (!!!) are also options.
