When you run a Mac OS system installer, you have the option to install a system specific to your computer or a "universal" system, which has the proper code for all models of Macintosh (read: lots of wasted space). I believe this option is under "custom install", but I can't exactly remember - and I am away from home and am forced to use a Windoze box (gasp), as my Duo 280 is slightly out of sorts. hope this helps -ocie BTW, I like the Linux thread. I am thinking of running 8.6 within LinuxPPC. Can't recal the name, offhand, of the app that lets you do this but I am sure someone else on the list knows. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
