Do you know what chipset it uses?

The Farallon EtherMac PC card uses the 3Com 3c589 Ethernet chip, which is
supported by the Linux PCMCIA drivers. I've been using one under Linux on
my 2400 for some time now.

If the Communicard uses a common chipset, one that is already present in
the PCMCIA package, it should be relatively easy to get it working. A lot
of times the driver just has to be reviewed for endian correctness (if you
don't understand that, don't worry) and patched where necessary.
