Hi all!

I know I have seen messages on this topic so many times...but now they are
all inaccessable on *my* dead 2400's HD! It is the same old
story--resetting power manager doesn't help, and if I use either the
power key or the rest button it will sometimes click, but doesn't start
up.

So, is this definitely a hardware problem? And if so, do I have to send
it to apple, or can someone local fix it? (I don't have AppeCare or
anything). This problem came about pretty suddenly over the last two
days, right after I installed SpellTools--I don't suppose there is any
possible connection?

Thanks very much to anyone who responds!

Corina
