Anyone who has been on this list for a while (I mostly lurk, but have
answered a few posts during the past year) knows that we 2400c owners are
all being held hostage by our batteries. If they go, there is no supplier
for a new one.

It happened. While I was out of town for two weeks, my 2400c's only battery
suddenly-and-for-no-discernable-reason died. The PB still works as a small
and portable desktop computer, but it does not recognize the battery at all.

I have occasionally read of some of you having as many as three batteries.
Are any of you willing to part with one?
