Hello folks,
I've just discovered this list. Wish I'd known about it years ago when I
first got my 2300c....
Background:
I have a 2300c. Lovely machine, but the modem (original 14.4) is a bit
pokey....
My partner has a 250. Lovely machine also, but that much older. She's
grown out of it.
I'm looking to get a new powerbook and hand the 2300c on to her.
Unfortunately, she HATES the trackpad...
Question 1:
Can I take the trackball out of the 250 and put it in the 2300c? If so,
what problems am I likely to come across?
(I live in Tokyo, Japan. I know there are shops here that offer trackpad
-> trackball conversions and vice-versa. Problem is they seem to run to
about $2-300.)
Question 2:
Can I upgrade the internal modem in the 2300c?
