This sounds like the classic driver incompatability problem. Update both the
Duo and the internal Dock HDs to the same driver (like 7.5.2) and you will
likely have no problem afterward.

Why does it happen? My guess is that, when Docked, the CPU might be confused
as to which HD it should start up. Anyone with a better answer?
