There is a small shareware application called CacheKiller 
(www.cachekiller.com), that does this job perfectly well and very fast. 
It can be configured to automatically delete the cache files (of any 
browser or other programs using cache files) at intervals. Very useful. 
And BTW there is Cookie Cutter (freeware, I do not remember where I came 
upon that one) to open Netscape's Magic Cookie file and select single 
cookies for deletion or deny the respective servers to place a cookie on 
your HD. Very useful too.
