Hope I'm not too late to add my two cents . . . . anyway, it's not illegal to deface money in the United States, unless your intent is fraud. In fact, it doesn't matter what your intent is . . . you have to actually attempt fraud for it to be illegal. It's actually in the government's interest for money to be taken out of service now, since the coins have no intrinsic value. On another note . . . I've just installed OS 7.5 upgrade two, which gives me 7.5.3. Immediately after the upgrade, neither of my browsers (netscape, iCab) would make a connection, even though my email client (eudora lite) and ftp client (transmit--which I hearily recommend. Get it from Panic.com) both work fine. I suspect it must have something to do with Open Transport, but, for the life of me, I can't imagine what Eudora and Transmit know that Netscape and iCab don't. I've thought about reinstalling the browsers -- an obvious first move, but unfortunately I need a browser to find a download site. BTW, my email account is web-based. Reporters.net is in Dallas; I'm in Omaha. So I really am reaching the internet. Can anybody shed any light on this situation? fritz -------------------- william limbacher omaha, nebraska [EMAIL PROTECTED] -------------------- ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
