Fellow Duo Owners:
Because of numerous previous discussions about Service Manuals on this
list, and the observation that such manuals are no longer accessible
through the <euro.apple.com> website, I would like to share the following
with you.
About two weeks ago I bid for a "Macintosh Technician Reference CD" on
eBay auction. I had to keep increasing my bids to unreasonably high
levels to beat out several very persistent competitors, while realizing
that it would not cost the seller more than a buck or two to reproduce the
CD.
In any case, I have just received the CD. It does contain Service
Manuals, User Manuals, and other information not only for all PowerBook
and Duo models, but also all Desktop Macs, Apple monitors, printers, and
other peripherals, and even Mac clones of recent years.
If any list subscribers have real need for a Service Manual, User Manual,
and the like for a Duo model, please contact me off list.
