I disagree... with a full-blown dock, you can run your display off of the
Dock's daisychainable power... that's one less switch :)
Oh, but seriously, the dock has a built-in Floppy., and a place to put
the display that doesn't add severely to the footprint on your (my)
cramped desk. I don't have to mess with cables in the back (as one has
to when giving power to the minidock -- unless you have a spare power
cube or a third-part dock with a different power config -- I've never
seen that...
Two displays is ususally great for designers, and as no duo can display
in millions of colors on it's own screen, nor on a screen from a
minidock, you won't use a Duo for serious color work.
The added real estate is nice -- but of what value?
