I never said that Newer docks wouldn't work on the 2300c,
they're a great company, made great docks for the 2300c.
What I said was that not all docks that worked on the 280c
would work on the 2300c. In my specific case, the Newer SCSI
microdock did NOT work. It was confirmed by Newer that it
shouldn't. My point was that you have to know the version of
the dock to know whether it will work. This is difficult to
determine in an auction environment.
