The 6100 does not have IDE.

If you did have a machine with an IDE controller, you could do it
after getting a 2.5" to 3.5" IDE conversion kit, which allows a
conventional 40-pin IDE cable and 4-pin power connector to be used
with a 2.5" IDE drive. (Such kits may also include hardware to mount
the smaller drive in a bay intended for a 3.5" drive.)
