I checked the FAQ, I looked around the internet, so I hope you aren't bugged by these questions you must have heard already. My buddy has a Duo 2300 which inspired me to buy a 2400 yesterday. The guy that sold it to me just bought a new battery because the "old one didn't work for more than a few minutes". Unfortunately the new one didn't work either so he sent it back because he thought it was defective. I noticed on ebay somebody selling a 2400 that wouldn't charge. Is this possibly my problem too? The charge indicator sometimes shows three things alternating: charging, batteries charged but plugged in, and plugged in with no battery installed. And this is without changing anything. Is this a chronic problem with the 2400 and how much money am I looking at to get it fixed? Once everything is working well, how long will the batteries run if I "milk" it. (My old PB190 will still get almost 3 hours on its original batteries.) Mike Friese ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
