I had something wierd happen to me this morning. My computer and battery all worked this morning. And then I put my 2400 into sleep mode, and walked to class. When I took the computer out of my bag, the sleep light was glowing solid green, and no matter what I did, I couldn't get it to shut off. I pulled out the battery, and it still did nothing different. Finally, I read my trouble shooting guide and found out that I needed to plug in the power adapter, and do a hard reset. I did that and it started up, but it doesn't recognize the battery at all. Does anyone know if I could have done something between when I put the powerbook to sleep and sometime while I was carrying it to class that the battery would just die? It's been fine the entire time I've had the 2400; it showed no signs of holding less of a charge, plus it was fully charged when I put it into sleep mode. Does anyone know of a way to test the battery, or something I can do to get it tested? Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix the battery or get the 2400 to recognize the battery?
