About a week ago there was some discussion about whether a 2300 logicboard
could be used
in other duos. At that time I had a 2300 logicboard on order to upgrade my
280, and have
since recieved and installed the board. The logicboard installed with no
problems and works
well with the scsi drive and grayscale screen of the 280. I am pleased
with this upgrade and
recommend this as it was far less expensive than the 280->2300 upgrade
package. (I can
recommend a dealer if anyone is interested, contact me directly).

As an added bonus after I installed the new logicboard the memory chip
which showed as
20 meg on my 280 showed up as 32 with the 2300 board. This was actual
memory, not
virtual. Anyone ever seen this before?

One last thing, if anyone is interested in a 280 logicborad contact me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I believe this can upgrade either a 250 or a 270 (somebody correct me if
I'm wrong)

Kevin
