Recently someone posted a message on setting up a RAM Disk on their powerbook. I would like to do this on my 280c. On the apple til site the info stated I should install a minimal system folder using system disk software. Do I have to do it this way? Can I make copies of the system folder items and place on the RAM disk? How big should I make the RAM disk?

My primary goal is to use this to extend battery time. Any info or links to instructions would be appreciated! My system info below.

Duo 280c
40 MB ram installed
1.2 gig hd ( 550 mbs available)
Mac OS 8.1

Thanks,
