1) I assume that you have checked this on multiple wall jacks and have checked those jacks with a polarity tool? It could be that your wall jacks are wired incorrectly. Happens all the time. 2) The problem is with your Duo's internal drive, software or P-RAM settings. Once you startup with the Dock, you can use the "Startup Disk" control panel to switch the startup disk to the dock's internal drive. Then when you startup the system should immediately startup from the dock's drive. However, you should zap your P-RAM and rebuild your desktop on the Duo itself. This should clear that kind of thing. If not, something has been installed improperly on the Duo's internal drive. You should wipe the disk and re-install a clean system in any event. John Siple wrote: > 1) I have two curiousities.
