VimageUSA is out of the retail and wholesale business....though they 
were looking to do OEM deals.   The mother company, Interware Japan, 
is the primary source for the G3/320 and G3/400 copper cards, and the 
source from which MCE is trying to get cards.

Newer never delivered on their copper card and given their financial 
problems and current direction I wouldn't expect them to put any 
dollars toward G3/240 card production.  Small market, high production 
and support/warranty cost, etc....probably why the few cards that get 
produced are targeted to Japanese owners.

Some of our subscribers residing in Japan might have some more 
insight on why pricing is so high there, but I'm betting it's just 
total cost/small market size.
