There is a clock chip on the logic board which drives the CPU.  It is a 33.33 
mhz chip on the Duo; I replaced mine with a 37.5 mhz chip, bumping it up to 
112.5 mhz.  Not a big difference, but with SpeedDoubler and the clock chip 
mod, it did feel quite a bit faster!  

BTW, the clock chip change had nothing to do with the logic bd. failure.   
That was a bad display or backlight supply board failure.
