I seem to remember that a great many Nubus machines were over-cooled
because their cooling spec was set to include the load of all those
toasty-warm Nubus cards and hard drives.

Question:
Has anyone removed or modified the fan in a DuoDock?

Question:
On a stripped-down DuoDock, how *do* you determine if you
have enough cooling (after you decide to modify or remove the fan)?

Do you put a thermometer in the enclosure ... ? Wait for the processor
to start giving spurious responces ... ? Etc. ... ?

Question:
Is the operating temperature range which Apple publishes the ambient
temperature or the enclosure temperature?

Cheers,
jeff
