Could anyone offer any further suggestions?
I am attempting something very similar to Peter Briggs: wanting to
ethernet an iMac DV to a Duo 2300 in an ethernet equipped dock
running 8.6 but without the duo monitor and keyboard (headless).
This simple applet below doesn't seem to work when I take the duo out
of the dock and return it later. I am still trying to figure out why
and am a complete novice with Applescript.
I've been through the drill suggested by Marc and Nathaniel in the
earlier postings 19th & 21st Jan and have set up file sharing in the
C/Panel as well as on the duo disks via the information panel etc.
With a monitor and keyboard everything is fairly straightforward, but
I don't have space on my desk for multiple monitors. (I should add
that if possible I would like to avoid a hardware solution -
apologies to sponsor!)
I would very much appreciate any tips.
Thanks Iain Bruce
