Hi,

Sorry for screaming, but I need some more info about the
no-sound-at-all phenomenom that plagues the 2300c.

I heard it on this list, I saw no-sound Duos on eBay, and now one of
my Duos got the same problem. It's mute, no start-up-sound, nothing.
Speaker and cable to the inverter board are fine, so it's either the
inverter board, the ribbon cable, or the MB. Sound in the Dock etc.
works always fine with these Duos, and I'm not sure right now if the
Dock has its own sound chip or uses the one on the MB. If the one on
the MB is used, the MB can't be the problem.

Does anyone have a clue what's going on, and why it happens
overnight? It seems to be a common problem!

Steffen
