Just got a larger Hard drive for my 2400 that I'm gonna install this weekend. I've done this on a 2300 and have opened up my 2400 many times so that's not a problem. The paperwork that came with the drive says that I have to format the disk with Apple's Hard Drive Setup. I'm assuming that I can use the startup floppy that came with the 2400 to do that. Am I right? Any pitfalls to watch out for? It's an 8 gig drive so what are the pros and cons with partitioning and HFS+ TIA John (While I'm at it I'm gonna look for any half melted, smelly plastic bits or at least air the damn thing out . . . <grin>) ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
