Ok. Here are some more tricks. Unfortunately, they only work with 7.5.5 or
above. (Doesn't hurt to try it with 7.1, However, I doubt they will work.)
If you move your Appearance manager over to your machine with 7.5.5, and
select "System-wide Platinum appearance" you will have the draggable
windows and the sticky-menus. There is an extension called "Finder
extensions enabler" that enables the following:
1. Create an alias by control-dragging
2. Adds a "Reveal original" to the file menu in the Finder. (Not just for
aliases, but useful for opening the window containing the application for a
selected file)
3. Adds the keyboard command  "command-delete" for moving items to the
trash. 

It's small (less than 17k) and takes absolutely no heap. I can email it to
you if you wish. I find it worth having multiple times every day.
