I just pulled something off a MacAddict CD (number 38 to be exact). If you
don't have it, you can download it from <http://www.serasoftware.com/>. It
automatically indexes the web pages you visit, allowing you to quickly,
search and recall web pages based on the text within. It is supposedly
pretty cool. It doesn't seem to work, however, with Cyberdog and iCab. I
haven't tried it yet with Netscape, with which it's supposed to work. :-)

Another alternative is Web Ninja, which also tracks your movements through
the web. It was distributed by ZiffDavis. You can try their web site
(sorry, no url).

As for bookmarks, I like to use a nifty control panel/fkey combo. You use
the control panel to define fkeys that snatch text and save it to a file.
The options are quite flexible. I have it set to add to a desktop file
called "clippings.html". I have added extra code so the clipping is saved
as embedded html. I use this file for my home page in all my browsers
(except Cyberdog which doesn't use one). This way, all the urls I save (it
works with all applications) from wherever, are in one file. Instructions
for this are in the readme file that comes with the program. :-)
URL:<http://www.glw.com/casey/macbits.html>. Unfortunately, I was unable to
verify the url. Please let me know if it doesn't work. (BTW, this is my
favorite)

There is always URL Manager Pro. It adds a menu to your browser. It works
with all the most popular browsers. (again, sorry but no url.)

At the moment, none others come to mind. :-) Hope this is a good starting
place.
