It's xDSL service and that is a great option. I use xDSL here
(Madison, WI) and it is very fast and reliable.
Looks like the service from Cinicinatti Bell (ZoomTown) offers up to
4 IP addresses as well. That's a good thing. I would definately sign
up, if you can.
DSL is a far superior technolgy to cable modems. It is point to
point, so whatever bandwidth you contract for is what you get. With
cable modem, you are sharing bandwidth (and your data) with your
neighborhood.
However, DSL availability is limited by distance to the local DSLAM
(where DSL is terminated). You have to be within 3 miles of the
switch. You provider will be able to tell you if you are close enough.
