Hi all ...
I need a bit of advice.

The keyboard and front power switch on my Duo280c only work when the
Caps lock key is on. Also, I can't dim or brighten the screen. All of
the other functions (modem, software, finder, start-up, trackball and
buttons, etc ...) work fine. I just can't type.

And then, when I do type with the Capslock down, I get "HA" when I press
"H", "Q" doesn't work at all, and various other things ... (sigh).

I was wondering if I replace the keyboard, will that fix it or do I
need to do more than that? I opened the case, and fond a tiny scratch on
the dark gray side of the lleft-hand lead to the keyboard ...

If you have any advice, that would be great. Thank you. I'm familiar
with mac systems, but this is my first powerbook.

Thanks for any assistance,
