If you had a 2400, you could use an USB card and these new USB video input
devices. With the 280c, however, your only options in in portable mode are
SCSI, Ethernet and Serial ports. The serial are going to be too slow for any
meaningful video input and I'm not aware of any external Video input devices
(there might have been some Windows products which almost certainly did not
manufacture Mac drivers). I've never seen anything for either SCSI or Ethernet
input, not to mention, all of which would almost certainly require external
power which might create a problem with your portability idea. Lastly, In order
to get real time video on your screen, the window might have to be too small to
be practical as a monitor since the 280c has very limited graphics
capabilities. Even Quicktime movies run painfully slow & jerky on a 280c.
