When I attempted to power up my duo230 this morning it came up with a grumpy
(frowning), apparently drunk (x'd out eyes) mac dude with the following
codes: 0000000f and 0000000d. Subsequent attempts produced a flashing
screen. Now it won't even flash the screen, it makes a slight "hissing" type
noise (not from the speaker or mic either) when I press the power on button
but that is all. I pulled the HD and tried it in a duo210... worked like a
champ. I also pulled the ram just in case... no dice. Question is, is this a
dead machine? I'm guessing so, second question... will a duo 280 motherboard
work okay considering the video differences? It looks identical otherwise,
I'm assuming my Kingston 4Mb ram card and 14.4k modem will work with the 280
motherboard.
