This is one of those areas that one day when the cost of the Nubus G3/G4 cards
comes down I will explore. Remember the Duo is one big PDS slot, albeit
specialized. There is no reason (that I can think of) that a specialized
connector adapter can't be created to convert the PDS connector of the G3/G4
upgrade cards to the 2300 Duo's 152 pin connector. All you need is some ribbon
cable, one of the Duo's specialized connectors and a 7100/8100's PDS connector.
The real question is would the drivers for these cards support such a
configuration?

The only reason Newer, or somebody else isn't making these cards now is because
the company that made the specialized docking connector discontinued the part.
That's why companies stopped making all sorts of docking things and why Micro
Ether Docks are now worth a king's ransom.
