I recently bought an imac DV se and I was wondering how others
transfer files from the 2400 to an ibook? I was hoping to use a
cross-over cable hooked up to the ethernet port of the imac and
connect that to the 2400, but when I looked at the male end of
the farallon ethernet pc adapter dongle and the male end of the
cross-over cable I realized that there would be a problem!? At
radio shack I found an 8 wire in line coupler that looked like
it would connect the 2 male ends nicely but no matter how I
configure the two computers they will not connect. As soon as
appletalk is started the green light goes out on the back of
the farallon card in the 2400...Any ideas?
Thanks,
Willie
