Not really. Ethernet DOCKS are VERY hard to come by and expensive. Cards are
relatively cheap and readily available on eBay. So, using a Duo in a dock is a
very easy thing (most docks already have an AAUI port built-in). Same for
desktop computers. Almost all older computer's can take what are now very
inexpensive NuBus or PDS Ethernet cards. Finally, there is EN/SC which also
seem to be fairly inexpensive and readily available through various used Mac
sources. This is what I intend to use on my Duo MiniDock, since I can't stand
the idea of my Duo Dock Plus' fan humming away all day.
