Hello all,
New guy here! I have a new battery that has the Apple
logo and copyright info on it and is identified as a
"Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Battery for Macintosh
PowerBook 2400c, Made in Japan, Model Number: M4271"
I can't seem to find out any info on this battery
anywhere! Not even the Apple TIL has any info. In fact
it shows a totally different part number for the
battery for a 2400C. Apple shows part number:
M5876LL/A to be the battery for a 2400c.
What I am trying to find out is, is this a good part
number and therefore a good battery for a 2400c. No I
don't have a 2400c as of yet and that's why I can't
just see if it fits and works! I am also trying to
determine it's approximate value as a new battery.
I run a small computer consulting and liquidation
business in AZ and received this in a small lot of
Apple/Mac stuff I purchased.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Kevin
