I have recently acquired a 280c duodoc. Everything seems Ok except I'm
unable to switch on the modem. The control strip indicator shows modem
power and software both turned off, but I haven't found how to turn it on.
It may be looking for the Apple Express modem- for which I don't find that
software on the machine. How can I identify what kind of modem is
installed without taking it apart? One utility (TattleTech) says a modem
is installed, but that it cannot access it. Any help out there?
